The Park protects Biscayne Bay and its beautiful offshore barrier reefs, which happen to be one of the largest coral reefs in the world. This amazing place is home for more than 200 species of fish, pelagic birds, whales, hard corals, swallowtail butterflies, small tooth sawfish, manatees, and green and hawksbill sea turtles.
