RV 101: Different Types Recreation Vehicles

All the diffrent RVs out there have pros and cons you have to decide which option is best for you. We have broken it down to these categories to better categorize them all.

Class A Motorhome

These are the largest of all motorhomes, they might be bus conversions.  They are usually constructed on a commercial truck chassis or a comercial bus chassis.   The addition of slide-outs dramatically changed the industry in the late 80’s.

Class B Motorhome

Class B motorhomes are the smallest and are built on a van chassis. Although there are full-timers in Class Bs, they are generally too small to live in for long periods of time.

Truck Campers

A truck camper is a unit that is temporarily let into the bed or chassis of a pickup truck. These are much favored by hunters and other backwoods travelers, particularly in North America. Truck campers are usually considered the most versatile form of recreational vehicle. They are capable of going virtually anywhere a pickup truck can go. The lines of definition can blur between a truck camper and a Class C
